About the Rescue Team
The Rescue Team is PMM's frontline response unit for wildlife in distress. Operating 24 hours a day across Dahod district, our trained volunteers respond to calls for snake sightings in homes and farms, injured birds, and wildlife in conflict with human settlements. All rescued animals are safely handled, identified, and — wherever possible — released back into their natural habitat. For cases requiring medical attention, we work alongside the Gujarat Forest Department and empanelled veterinary doctors. Our snake awareness sessions in schools and villages have helped thousands of Dahod residents see snakes not as threats, but as vital guardians of our ecosystem.
