On 16 August 2026, Prakruti Mitra Mandal organised a memorable Monsoon Bike Ride to Ratanmahal, with more than 40 members participating enthusiastically.
The ride began at 7:30 AM from the Mandalโs Plantation Site, Gate No. 4. The journey through Jesawada and towards Ratanmahal was filled with cloudy skies, gentle rain, lush greenery and beautiful monsoon landscapes.
Members stopped at the Amli Menpur Watch Tower for breakfast and enjoyed the scenic surroundings, followed by a tea break at Dhanpur. The winding roads through the dense forests added adventure and excitement to the journey.
At Ratanmahal, Organiser Shri Nilambhai Amin shared interesting information about the region and its rare Flying Squirrel. Secretary Shri Shakir Kadiwala spoke about Ratanmahalโs rich biodiversity and natural resources, while Shri Mustafa Kadiwala shared important trekking safety tips and guidance.
The group also had a memorable interaction with retired officer, renowned ornithologist and environmentalist Shri Uday Vora, making the visit even more special.
Some members also enjoyed the natural waterfall near the Naldha campsite. The combination of rain, forests, scenic landscapes, adventure and fellowship made the ride a truly memorable experience.
The members returned with wonderful memories and a renewed appreciation for nature.
๐ฟ Let us connect with nature, understand it and commit ourselves to its conservation.
