Snake Awareness Camp – Student Nature Club
Prakruti Mitra Mandal’s Student Nature Club Wing organised an informative Snake Awareness Camp at Ajay Desai Prakruti Bhavan to provide children with detailed knowledge about snakes, their different species, and the distinction between venomous and non-venomous snakes.
A total of 64 children, including 34 boys and 30 girls, enthusiastically participated in the camp. Members of the Prakruti Mitra Mandal Rescue Team provided valuable information about snakes, helping the children develop a better understanding of these important creatures and learn how to identify and respond to them safely.
The interactive and informative session was designed to create awareness about snakes and promote a positive and responsible attitude towards wildlife. The children actively participated in the programme and benefited from the practical knowledge shared by the rescue team members.
The entire camp was well organised under the guidance and coordination of Student Nature Club Conveners and team.
The programme was an enriching experience for all the participating children and served as an important step towards developing awareness, understanding, and respect for wildlife among the younger generation.
